Má umělecká tvorba navazuje na neustálý, živý mentální proces, který je ve vyrovnané pozici se samotným fyzickým aktem malby. Nejprve tvorbou uspokojuji určitou chuť, na tu navazuji procesem rozvažování. Začínám emocí, kterou dále konfrontuji s kompoziční a kontextovou strategií. Obraz je tak živým organismem, napětím mezi rozumem a citem, fluidním materiálem.
Ve vztahu k malbám nejsem autoritativní. Jsou otevřenou krajinou, do které vstupuji a čekám na příchod příběhu, hledám jeho hrdin(k)u. Pracuji v tematických cyklech, které se vyznačují určitou technikou malby či prostupujícím tématem. Techniku buď postupně opouštím nebo naopak formuji a nechám ji přelít se do dalšího cyklu. Maluji formáty, které se výškou vyrovnají lidské postavě, což je rozsah odpovídající potřebám mého dialogu. Skrze tento dynamický proces, dialog chuti a strategie, přenáším do obrazů hravost a zároveň reflektovanou autenticitu – provokuji k životu.

My artistic practice is based on a continuous, dynamic mental process that exists in balance with the physical act of painting itself. First, I satisfy a certain taste through creation, and then I follow that with a process of reflection. I begin with an emotion, which I then confront with compositional and contextual strategies. The painting is thus a living organism, a tension between reason and emotion, a fluid material. I am not authoritative in relation to my paintings. They are an open landscape into which I enter and wait for a story to emerge, searching for its hero or heroine. I work in thematic cycles characterized by a specific painting technique or an overarching theme. I either gradually move away from a technique or, conversely, shape it and let it flow into the next cycle. I paint large formats that are equal in height to a human figure, a scale that corresponds to the needs of my dialogue. Through this dynamic process—a dialogue of taste and strategy—I bring playfulness and, at the same time, a reflective authenticity to the paintings; I provoke to life.
